Catnip relieves tension and muscle spasms.  Reduces stomach and bloating pains.  As well as a good mild sedative for anxiety.  Can have a mild psychoactive effect if taken in larger doses.  In addition.  Cats are crazy about the scent and properties of catnip.  Hence the name.
